      • Elephants are gray. Pigs are pink. Only the chameleon has no color of his own. He is purple like the heather, yellow like a lemon, even black and orange striped like a tiger! Then one day a chameleon has an idea to remain one color forever by staying on the greenest leaf he can find.           Comments about A Color Of His Own (Board Book):

          Some (not all) of the words and illustrations didn't match up. Ex: a gray elephant looked like it was red. A green lizard looked orange. There was only a few pages like this, but I bought it to help teach colors and I think it will be very confusing. Pages came stuck together, but easily came apart without messing anything up. One comer was messed up a little when the book came in.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
