This is the first book I was able to get my very active 2-year-old to sit down and really listen to. He is obsessed with trucks, and this book captured his imagination the way no other books did. It's very well written with fun illustrations. HIGHLY recommendend to anyone with a child who loves trucks.

Comments about Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site:
This is a really cute story of the work done by a truck crane, cement mixer, bulldozer, dump truck and excavator, and how each one settles down for the night. It is told in a rhyming fashion that has allowed my 3 1/2 year old to memorize the story. We read this together every night, but he basically reads it to me. I think this is the book that will teach him to really read. If you have a child into "mighty machines" this book is a must.
