Comments about The Goodnight Train:
This is one of the two books that we read at bedtime every night. This was purchased several months ago and our daughter is now 2 1/2. She loves this book and calls it "Na-Na Choo-Choo".
When we read this to her we start out in regular voices and at a faster pace, but after the train goes through the tunnel the book slows down and so do we. We begin to hush our voices and read a bit slower. This is one of her favorite books, and because of such we have also given it as a gift.
If anyone is interested in pairing this with another of the same style of canter, the other book we read every night is by a different author and is about a little blue truck the cover has animals in the back of the truck. These are her go to books every night.
